Troy Lee Designs' SE5 Carbon helmet is now
available in five new colorways, including the
pictured Quattro Team Navy. Made from a blend
of fiberglass and carbon-fiber, the SE5 Carbon's
shell includes Mips brain-protection system and
an impact-absorbing dual-density EPS layer. The
helmet's opening has a layer of EPP foam, which
creates a softer contact point to reduce the brunt
of impacts to the upper shoulder and collarbone
areas. The redesigned chinbar has side louvers
for increased airflow and plastic visor screws
breakaway upon impact.
