led for a third of race distance before Cari-
casulo came past, and many others catching
them shortly after.
An amazingly combative final lap saw
Aegerter and Caricasulo fight so hard that
they messed each other up in the final corner
exit and Cluzel swept through for his fourth
race win of 2021. The last corner melee also
allowed Niki Tuuli (MV Agusta Corse Clienti)
through to finish second, leaving Aegerter
third, Caricasulo fourth and De Rosa fifth.
Odendaal's season ended on a low point
as he fell in race two, and Gonzalez was an
early faller, hurting his right shoulder.
In the final championship points Aegerter
has 417, Odendaal 323, Gonzalez 286, Clu-
zel 279 and Ottl 252.
