IN THE WIND P44 Shayna Bauman-Texter has inked a deal with Indian Motorcycle, where she will step up to AFT SuperTwins class. Shayna Texter-Bauman Joins Indian S hayna Texter-Bauman has of- ficially joined the Indian Mo- torcycles 2022 AFT SuperTwins Factory Race Team where she will pilot the Indian FTR750. Texter- Bauman, who is the AFT Singles winningest rider, becomes the third member of the Indian flat track team as she joins her husband and two- time AFT SuperTwins Champion Briar Bauman along with reigning 2021 AFT SuperTwins Champion Jared Mees. Indian Motorcycles are the reigning five-time Manufactur - ers Champion of the series and look to continue their success in flat track racing. This news follows the announcement from earlier this week that Shayna Texter-Bauman and the Factory Red Bull KTM Flat Track Team would not be continuing their relationship for the 2022 racing season. Following an exhilarating 2021 Progressive American Flat Track (AFT) season, the reigning five-time Manufacturers Champion, Indian Motorcycle Racing, announced the signing of Shayna Texter-Bauman to its 2022 AFT SuperTwins factory race team. With the signing, Indian Motorcycle will welcome the AFT Singles winningest rider as the third member of the Indian Motorcycle Wrecking Crew—joining her hus - band and two-time AFT SuperTwins Champion Briar Bauman and reign- ing 2021 AFT SuperTwins Cham- pion Jared Mees. Piloting the Indian FTR750, Texter-Bauman will pit under the Factory trailer as Dave Zanotti will serve as the crew chief for both riders. Former AFT Champion Jake Johnson will serve as her me - chanic.
