Tempe Triathlon
W
e've always known Cycle News Editor Kit Palmer
is an ironman. Each Monday at Cycle News is an
endurance race to round up all the biggest motorcycle
racing news from around the world, and Palmer is at
the helm 50 weeks a year. But apparently this is not
quite enough of a challenge for him, because in Tempe,
Arizona, on Sunday, November 22, Palmer completed
an actual Ironman Triathlon, completing a 2.4-mile swim,
112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run in a combined time of
15:04:29. He might have also completed the Baja 1000
in that time—we're looking into it.
Congratulations to our fearless leader on an amazing
performance. We are giving him a rare Monday off to
recover. Great job, Kit!
