eta's second-generation 300
RX two-stroke features a few
significant upgrades for 2022.
Seat height has been reduced
one-half inch due to a new seat.
The RX has a new diaphragm
clutch that Beta claims provides
a lighter pull while offering more
progressive control. In addition, the
new clutch, Beta says, has better
engagement and disengagement
and is now capable of transmitting
more torque. And, you can adjust
the clutch settings via three different
spring options, by rotating the sup-
port plate behind the outer clutch
cover. As a result, clutch engage-
ment can be adjusted to release
smoothly or more firmly depending
on the rider's needs.
Frame rigidity has been altered
for improved rideability, and the KYB
closed-cartridge fork has new inter-
nal settings.
Beta says the 2022 300 RX will
be available January 2022 but in lim-
ited numbers. MSRP is $9199.
