made the best of it. I had to deal
with a lot of injuries over the years
and I definitely take time to get

Dungey saw his championship
hopes take a big hit. While run-
ning second to Villopoto in the
first moto, Dungey stalled his
bike in a turn and was unable to
get it relit, even bump-starting it.
He finally pushed the bike back
to the pits, where it finally started.
Suspecting an electrical problem, the team took the wiring
loom apart but could find nothing
wrong. When they put it back together the bike started right up.
Dungey went out in the second moto and passed Stewart for
second but fell hard with two laps
to go and eventually finished third
behind Villopoto and Stewart.
Canard was fourth overall with
a 5-6 tally, and his Team Muscle
Milk Honda teammate Justin Barcia finished the day in fifth overall after turning in a 9-4 performance.
