onster Tech 3 Yamaha's Cal
Crutchlow, Go & Fun's Alvaro Bautista and LCR Honda's
Stefan Bradl were part of a small
group who paid a visit to the
newly built Termas de Rio Hondo
circuit in Argentina last week with
the combination test/public relations visit shortened somewhat
because of a Friday downpour at
the South American venue.
Following Thursday's announcement that the track will
join the series schedule in 2014,
the six riders lapped somewhat
cautiously in mixed conditions
later on day two, with the Friday
afternoon session extended by
30 minutes to make the most of
some late sunshine.
Crutchlow put his Monster Yamaha Tech 3 YZR-M1 through its
paces, gathering data for both
Yamaha and Bridgestone over
the course of the two days, but it
was Bradl who ended up with the
fastest lap - his best of 1:44.188
coming on the first day.
The other three at the test
were Blusens' Hector Barbera,
Tuenti HP 40's Tito Rabat and
Mapfre Aspar Team's Nico Terol,
the latter two riding their Moto2
