Las Vegas' Bill H ill (Suz), who had cra shed at the start of the first mo to, stayed uprigh t this time for a third. Third overall, however, went to Mattox (Yam ) via his 3-4. Bell and Goodwi n switched places in Class 30 this time, with the overall win going to the American Honda/ Hallman Racing-sponsored Bell . Second went to Goodwi n with Richard Jackson third in each race and the same overall. The two lone competitors in Class 38 fought it ou t throughou t bot h mo tos wi th th e win in th e second race going to the Pro Circui t/Jones Goggles -sponsored McG raw. After the race, Roeseler no ted , "In the seco nd moto I fel t a lot looser and I was riding a lot better. My arms didn 't even pump u p."
