moto and second overall with a
5-2.
Gajser was third on the day
with a 4-3 and now trails Febvre,
who was fourth overall, by three
points in the championship.
Seewer rounded out the top
five overall.
"It wasn't an easy one," Her-
lings said of his day. "In the first
race, Jeremy was leading, riding
smooth and at a good pace, so
it was tough to pass him. But
at one point I knew I had to go
because the boys behind me
started pushing, so I had to pass
him.
"The second race, I was
caught up a bit in the start,"
Herlings said. "Tim [Gajser] and I
were somewhere around 10th or
12th and we both fought our way
back to the front. It was a tough
run, but I am happy to have won.
I feel like I am in a very good
shape right now, but I should
never underestimate the compe-
tition from Tim, Romain or Glenn
today. It can be anyone's race."
In the MX2 class, Vialle won
both motos, but Belgian Jago
Geerts didn't make it easy on the
Frenchman by finishing less than
three seconds behind Vialle in
both motos.
MX2 Championship leader
Maxime Renaux, Geerts' Ya-
maha teammate, had a tough
day with a couple of crashes.
The Frenchman finished out the
day eighth overall but still has a
comfortable lead: 563 points to
Geerts' 471.
Vialle, who was injured earlier
in the year, is catching Geerts.
The KTM rider trails Geerts by
just four points.
