t's hard to fathom, but it's been
[more than 30 years] since
we lost Ted Boody. The fateful
date of May 8, 1988, will be one
that the Boody family will always
remember, as a horrific accident
coming out of the final turn at
the Ascot Park Half Mile National
took Boody's life.
Ted Boody (his family called
him Bub) was a popular figure in
AMA Grand National Dirt Track
racing, a man truly loved by his
family and the racing community,
and his memory lives on today
