Monster Energy/ Pro Circuit Kawasaki Announces '22 Team T he Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Race Team announced its 2022 Supercross and mo- tocross roster, which will be made up of five riders. The all-250cc squad will be made up of return- ing riders Austin Forkner, Cameron McAdoo, Jo Shimoda and Seth Hammaker, as well as long-time Kawasaki amateur racer Jett Reynolds, who will make his full-time Pro debut in '22. Jordon Smith is no longer with the team. "We have a skilled group of riders on the team for the 2022 season," said Mitch Payton, Pro Cir- cuit owner. "With seasoned riders like Austin, Cam- eron and Jo returning, last year's rookie sensation Seth ready to begin his sophomore season, and Jett making his pro debut; we are in a good spot to compete for both 250 West and East Supercross titles." Nine-time AMA Amateur Champion Reynolds will be making his professional debut with the team. CN Austin Forkner will lead the five-rider Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki Team in 2022. VOLUME 58 ISSUE 40 OCTOBER 5, 2021 P25 Honda Signs Hymas H onda announced the signing of Chance Hymas. The 16-year-old native of Pocatello, Idaho, will ride for Team Honda's in-house amateur program. Hymas will participate in the Supercross Futures Series in 2022, as well as Amateur National mo- tocross events, and the latter part of the AMA Pro Motocross series. Through his family's Pocatello PowerSports dealership, Hymas will also contin- ue to compete in selected off-road races. Hymas is scheduled to move to Team Honda HRC for the 2023 and '24 seasons. "I'm very excited to be joining Team Honda, and to be a part of such a legit program," said Hymas, whose riding buddies include SLR Hon- da owner Mark Samuels and Team Honda HRC riders Hunter and Jett Lawrence. "It's an honor to be an in-house amateur rider with American Honda, and it's going to be an absolute blast! I'm looking forward to the future, and I'm going to make the best of this opportunity!" "I'm thrilled to bring Chance to the Honda fam- ily," added Brandon Wilson, Manager of Sports & Experiential at American Honda. "We already have a strong connection with his family through their dealership, and he's just a great person to work with. The fact that he works on his own motorcy- cles also speaks volumes about his character." CN Chance Hymas has been signed to Honda's amateur motocross racing program.
