the 600cc Supersport title... Ruben Xaus won race one at the final
World Superbike of the year at Imola; Regis Laconi won race two...
Team France, made up of David Vuillemin, Luigi Seguy and Yves
Demaria, won the Motocross des Nations in Belgium. Team USA did
not attend, choosing not to travel to Europe following the recent 9-11
terrorist attack.
