Guy Cooper took the overall win in the 125cc class at the Steel City
National Motocross in Pennsylvania and was pictured on the cover 30
years ago. Jeff Ward won the 500cc class... We reported the passing of
former Grand National Champion Steve Eklund who had been in a coma
since his crash at the Albuquerque Mile in June... Scott Summers won
the Hardrock 100 GNCC in Fairmont,
