Aegerter shot up the inside which forced Torres to take drastic measures
and eventually caused him to crash out of the race, seemingly handing
the title to the Aegerter, who crossed the line first. However, the incident
was immediately reviewed by Race Direction, who deemed it irresponsible
riding and handed him a 38-second ride-through penalty, and as a conse-
quence, delivered the title back to a tearful Torres.
