Younger brother Mike ran second ~ to Steve in both of these m ain events. Mike was inj u re d in a spill with Mike Konle , an d it lo oked as if he might 'no t make th e rest ar t. He was sen t over the bars in ' a handstand and slid a short ways on his head. When he finally got on h is feet, the only th in g that was hurt was h is left wris t an d his Bell S tar helme t tha t had a few scratches on it . Winning tw o main events a night is ge tti ng to be a th in g with Steve. He is the only rid er to d o it this year, and Wednesd ay n igh t was th e second tim e fo r h im t his se aso n. . For the most part, Wed nesd ay n ight Was s tran ge. I t was in th e eighties wi th off and o n rain an d a fr ee ligh t show provided b y Mo th er Nat u re.
