CMC's co verage is mandatory! OK, fell o ws, what d o you want ? AMA benefits are paid in addi ti on t o -o t her in suran ce be nefits available t o inju re d riders. CMC insu rance benefits are pay abl e only to th e exte nt tha t they are not p aid by othe r insurers. It is quite eas y to see th at , with o ut an y allowance fo r administrative expe nses, it would h ave be en ne cessary t o have collected $2 50 p er eve n t in order to pay claims. ($ 4 0 0, 0 0 0 divided b y 1600 even ts eq uals $ 25 0 paid o u t per event.) With t he se figures it b ecomes very obvious th at one o f two th in gs mus t be the ca se : 1) t he $111 pe r eve nt pl an of CMC ins u ra nce is not what it is crac ked up to be or, 2) A dditional m oney is being co llec ted (mos t lik ely out of tb e ride r entry fee .)
