Passin g o n a rather hairy co rner, Rich ard we nt ou t ahead an d lo o ked like h e had it all sew ed up bu t as happened to so many rid e rs h e stalle d on the uphill wi th Ken ny d oin g th e same thing. Bri an S mi th got ho me for th e win . T he next two heats had Shanon S h am bli n o ut on top all th e way fo r th e ove ra ll win wi th Brian second a nd Rich ard th ir d.
