Ma in INTRODUCING THE RICKMAN 125 MOTOCROSS. Derek and Don Rickman, champion British motocross riders, developed a frame so unique, that people all over the worl d wrote to them requesting one. They had to open a tactory just to try and keep up with the demand, and st il l th ey had to turn do wn orders . It would have bee n simple and profitable to keep making these unique frames. But the Brothers weren 't hap py-bec ause they knew that their perfect frame was only the beginn ing of th e perf ec t bike. An d that's what they really wanted to make. After many years of testing, learning from everybody else's mistakes (and a few of their own), Derek and Don perfected their Rickman-Metisse 125 Moto c ross-a bike so hand crafted , there will only be a limited quantity of them for sale this year.That' s because the Rickmans don't compete with big ma nufacturers-ex ce pt when they wipe them out on the course. The Rickman frame has no cornpetition . It's const ructed of a special lightweight alloy-s teel; the kind they make jet planes with. Every joint of the frame is profiled to fit, bronze-welded for a vrrtually indestructible bond, into a rac e- tested , double-loop crad le frame. The swing arm has been specially designed to add to stability .
