corrected ti me. was some so rt of
four-w heeled go-fast m ach ine ca lled a
Sandrnaster with ex-biker Bob Ferro at
the wheel. He cut seven mi nutes off hi s
winning time from last year, which gives
him an unofficial I I h ours, 12 min u tes
for the sol o run. First two four-wheeled
vehicles that we saw cross th e finish
(n o t winners o n c orre cted ti me) we re
pick-up trucks , a Chevy and a Ford .
Never knew pick-ups were used fo r
anything besides carr y ing bikes to a
race , and then to find o ut they race
