Th e fie ld was restarted, and on ce again any o f the front four riders would have been n ominated for best performan ce o f th e night by their determined efforts to please the crowd . In wi nning both the 100 T'I' and FT Main s, Sanders and h is Kaw asaki.r led every lap whi le c halle n ged by G oad e (Kaw) in both events. Goade fini shed secon d as Sanders p roved to a small an d disappointing crowd tha t h e still do mi nates th is class. I ndivid ual top performances were too nu mero us to me n tion , b u t one o f t h e most outstan ding was Crecelius (Yam) who is sponsored by Dr aco 's Mo t or cy cles, in winning the 125 TT Mai n over top ranked Sanders . T hey say tha t the ma rk of a top ride r is h ow well he perfo rms wh ile un der p ress u re . Well then , no one knows better than Sanders on how really {a pressure a rider out of position . but eve ry once in a wh ile co mes a rider th at ca n handle this pressure. Tonight it wa s Crecelius. Not o n ly did Crecel iu s defeat Sanders, the defendin g 125 cham pion , but Bob Brown (Yam) winner of this event the las t two times ou t who fin ish ed third. In the 125 FT Main, Creceliu s looked every b it th e part of an o the r sure winne r, b u t after lead in g th e firs t four lap s.
