HOW TO GET HUNT INGTON 3 EACH A CYCLE PARK T he Huntington Beach Cit y Parks an d R ecreation Department is in th e pro cess of placing registrat io n forms in all motorcycle repair sh ops and st o res wher e cycles are so ld . T he City Council . requires 500 o f these fo rms b e fill ed o ut to o pen a cycle park. T o d ate 460 h ave been t urn ed in t o the Parks Dep artm ent. T h e forms may b e filled out and left at th e cycle sh o ps for pi ckup b y the Parks Dep ar t men t. T he fo rm must b e signed b y th e Par k s D epartm ent. The fo rm must b e signed b y the parents of persons under 2 1 and includes a liability wa iver and m edical treatmen t ap p ro val. It sh o uld b e emphasized that each person in a family in te nding to use the facil it y should fill out a form, even though there ma y only b e I or 2 cy cles owned by the family . th e 100cc maxim um A lso , dis placemen t limitat io n stat ed o n th e fo rm should b e ignored. Th is p ar k is desperately needed to provide the kid s a sa fe p lace to ride an d to get them off t h e st ree ts where th ey create a hazard to th ems elv es as we ll as b oth ering th e neigh bors with the no ise. A lso , the o ld er cy cle owners need a place to go for a cou ple of h o urs to get some exercise and relaxatio n. wi th out hav ing to drive several hours t o get t here. '
