ACA UPS PURSE TO DRAW EXPERTS ~ <0 :; ~ w Z W ..J U >- U .... Why is Nancy Des Rosiers laughing? Is it because she has just smoked counterparts. Or because she has secret ambitions of trouncing Mike Runyard? By Rich Ho ffman ORA:-lGE, CAL. , Feb. 27, 1972 While most of L.A . and Orange County were overcast and foggy, A.C.A. motocrossers enjoyed a beautifully hot, sunny day at Saddleback Park. It was obvious that the heat played an important part in today's ra ces as lap times increased towards the end of each moto , The racer who has b een riding five or 10 minute motos was under c o n s i d e r a b l e strain in his third 20-minute moto . Noticeably absent from the day's ra cing were the Expert divisions. All three classes were very small with most of the top ra cers try ing fo r t he b ig money at other events. According to A.C.A. officials in order to remedy this situatio n, as of today, there will be a minimum of $50 p aid for the win ner of each Expert d ivision.
