Tim Hart got the checker in the first two 250 Expert motos, and a third in the last go to notch first overall. David Pessy pushed his Ossa under the flag in the third moto after a race long fight with Rapp's Bultaco and Hart's Maico , Ra pp did stay upright long eno ugh to finis h third overall and win enough money to get his leathers cleaned. The rest of the evening was just the 'usual Friday night shoot-out' that the CMC stages at the 'beach corral'. Rich T horwaldson getting faster every time out, fighting handlebar, peg, and elbow wi th hard riding and classy Ti m Hart, with Rich in second and Tim for third overall. S teve Brown has been stockpiling so ma ny trophies of late in the 500 Intermediate class, that the next thing you kn ow, h e and h is Maico are going t o b e wearing an Expert classificatio n. T he way J eff Wec ker has been doing his number to the 250 Intermediate troops , we may find him in with those 250 Experts before to long, too.
