VA LENCIA, CAL., Feb. 13, 1972 One-two-fives are usually considered the
bikes that one learns on before making
the big j ump to the 250 andlor 500
classes. In a sense, Rapp moved in the
opposite direction.
Last autumn Rapp was delivered a
323cc Bultaco to campaign in the
International Class of the Trans-AMA.
He fared poorly for the first half of the
series and took up riding a 250 in the
National Class with much better results.
Now that he and his co mp adres have
settled down on the SoCal circuit,
Rapp has been on top of the 125
Experts with room to spare.
T oday , on the elo nga ted Indian
Dunes course, he sta rted th e firs t of the
tw o 20-minute motos somewhere in the
middle of the pack but before too long
