Taylor Robert rode conservatively at the beginning of the week while getting used to the tests in Italy. He still finished second in E2 to Josep Garcia and fourth overall individually. triumph over Moto Club Sebino of Italy that led going into the final day. In much the same vein, Moto Club Pavia Senior of Italy re- sponded in the final moto tests to knock the GTBN (Good Team, Bad Name) trio of Nate Ferderer, Cole Martinez and Axel Pearson from the third step of the podium by seven seconds. This was de- spite Martinez winning his C2 final moto in the day's second-fastest Club time, slower only to Team Ostra Enduro 1's Lucas Vagberg who enjoyed a smoother track during his C1 moto. Based in a largely rural area south of Milan, this Six Days fea- tured mostly dry, dusty terrain—no surprise—with most of the enduro and cross special tests being long affairs taking advantage of the many hills to include lots of off-camber turns. In other words, it was a typical Italian enduro and, naturally, a comfortable setting for the home team. "I was really struggling with the off-cambers—I just don't think I have the weight to get into those. I just started looking for some different lines and I was watching videos of how Brandy rides them and I was trying to follow pre y much what she does. This is the third enduro I've ever done so it's all so new to me. It was a steep, steep learning curve and I'm glad I was able to adapt and change and hope- fully I get invited back next year." 503 COLE MARTINEZ 4TH CLUB/3RD C2/5TH CLUB INDIVIDUAL "That was pre y awesome," rookie Cole Mar nez said of his C2 final moto victory. "I got off to a good jump out of the gate and pre y much took the reins from there." Mar nez was the sole American Club rider to win his final moto. "I had a few tough days. I think I crashed on three different days so that cost me for the Club overall. All in all it was a great week. Re- ally, we should all be proud of ourselves."
