KTM Introduces 2022 450
SMR Supermoto

TM announced the return of
it its 450 SMR supermoto.
KTM's 2022 450 SMR supermo-
to shares the same platform as
its motocross cousin. The SMR
is powered by the same motor,
which weighs 59.5 pounds, that
powers the 450 SX-F but, as
before, "has been adjusted and
modified for optimum supermoto
use," says KTM.
Gear shifting is handled by
a Pankl Racing Systems five-
speed gearbox with a Suter anti-
hopper clutch. Brakes are made
up of a Brembo four-piston radial
caliper 310mm disc up front and
a 220mm disc in the back.
Suspension features a WP
Xact AER 48mm fork and a WP
Xact rear shock.
The SMR is fitted with super-
moto 16.5/17-inch Apina wheels
and Bridgestone racing slick
tires.
Claimed dry weight is 224.8
pounds.
The 2022 KTM 450 SMR will
be available at KTM dealers in
October.
