Webb. "Getting our first podium
of the year feels great and means
that all the hard work is paying
off—better late than never. I'm
super happy with today and look-
ing forward to finishing these last
two strong."
Finishing a quiet fourth overall
was Roczen, who wasn't much
of a factor after that early battle in
the first moto with Ferrandis and
Tomac. After a mediocre start in
the second moto, he had a 3-4
day for fourth overall.
"Just a mediocre day at Indy
this weekend," he admitted. "I
did not quite have the level of the
last couple weekends, [but I'm]
going to fight hard again these
last couple rounds."
Roczen's Honda teammate

to get that first moto win was
awesome. Then in the second
moto, I said 'It's time to get the
holeshot,' and I did, but Eli was
on it today, so congrats to him,
he deserved this win.

result for today and good for the
championship," added Ferrandis,
who now holds a 50-point lead
on Roczen and can clinch the
title this coming weekend at Fox
Raceway if he simply beats the
German. "The bike was awe-

anything, which was great."
"Today was overall a step in
the right direction and an awe-
some day," said third overall
before the next lap was com-
plete. From there he pointed his
Kawasaki toward the checkered
flag and a 2-1 day.
"It's been too long to get one
of these overalls, but better late
than never!" said Tomac after the
race. "I felt great on the track all
day and gave ourselves a chance
with good starts.
"In the second moto, I came
around the first turn near the
front and made some critical
moves right away to get my-
self closer to the lead," added
Tomac. "Once I was up into
second, I knew it was go-time for
me and I was determined to get
the job done."
"Today was a hard day, and
