ROUNDS 9-10 / AUGUST 13-14, 2021 WEEDSPORT SPEEDWAY / WEEDSPORT, NEW YORK P96 FLAT TRACK I PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK few years we seemed to lose our touch on it. I really wanted to win one of these before the year was up, and we don't have many opportunities with a lot of Miles and a TT basically left. So, to come here and put it all together like that was awesome. I'm actually really, really pumped about this win." While Mees left no doubt out front, the chase for second was anything but predictable. Halbert clung on to the bottom after it served him so well the day before and did so effectively enough to take Mission Roof Systems' high-lining teammates Brandon Robinson and Jarod Vanderkooi down to the last lap in their melee to get a major leg up, making it three GNCs in a row. But then Morgen [Mischler] went straight to the top [and won the AFT Singles main]. So, we were like, what are we going to do? My plan was that everyone was going to the top, so I'd stay at the bo om. But the race started, and I went straight to the top! I worked my way back down and then back up top, and then I cut back down. Briar was a bit ahead of me and I was using him as a gauge. I had no idea what place I was, but I got by him and figured it had to be for a pre y good posi on." Dallas Daniels scored a big win Friday in the Singles main. After the weekend, he trails Max Whale by two points for the championship lead.
