which Progressive American Flat
Track's latest superstar convinc-
ingly reasserted himself atop the
Mission SuperTwins pecking order,
a pair of "old" masters pulled them-
selves up off the mat at the New York
Short Track doubleheader to score a
pair of timely comeback victories.
On Friday night, that was pretty
much literally the case. Coolbeth-
Nila Racing's Sammy Halbert came
into the weekend still on the mend,
having missed several recent rounds
following an impromptu get-together
with the wall in Chicago.
