A Day In The Ruts
Many of the racers at the Unadilla National
Motocross said this track was one of the
toughest ever, and these ruts might explain
why. The capacity crowd witnessed a stellar
ride by Chase Sexton (23) who was in last
place after crashing at the start of the first
moto and thinking for a moment that he
had broken his ribs. To heck with that, he
said, and went onto pass 29 riders to finish
11th in the moto, carding fifth on the day
with an eventual 11-2 score.
