It was another disastrous day
for the American contingent of
Cameron Beaubier (American
Racing Team) and Joe Roberts
(Italtrans Kalex). Roberts went
down early at the penultimate
corner, and Beaubier crashed out
while in a points-scoring position
with six laps remaining.
In the championship, Gardner
still extends his points lead with
197 thanks to Raul Fernandez
fading to seventh at the finish.
Fernandez holds second in the
series with 162 with Bezzecchi
third at 153.
Marc Marquez (93) and Pol
Espargaro (41) clattered into
each other not once but twice,
on both starts.
Lorenzo Savadori's
and Dani Pedrosa's
bikes were burned to
a crisp on lap two.
