Race. The inaugural Royal Enfield Build. Train. Race. Series for la- dies on Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 race bikes kicked off on Sunday with Californian rider CJ Lukacs taking the win. The moto- cross racer started from the pole in the eight-lap event and led all the way to the checkered flag. Canadian-turned-Californian Becky Goebel, who normally Twins Cup Former Minnesotan Kaleb De Keyrel returned to the track on which he learned to race and took the race-one win aboard his Robem Engineering Aprilia from Veloce Racing Aprilia rider Anthony Mazziotto. De Keyrel ex- ecuted a spectacular last-corner pass for the win. Innovative Motorsports/Mike's Imports Suzuki rider Teagg Hobbs came from the second- row, fifth-place starting position to grab third. Race two saw Mazziotto come back for his slice of Brainerd glory, taking the lead on lap 10 and holding it to the flag to take his first win in the category. De Keyrel came home in sec - of title rival Tyler Scott (Scott Powersports KTM) on the final lap by 0.2 seconds. Third went to Veloce Racing Kawasaki rider Max Toth, making his return to the class after suffering a hand injury in a crash at Ridge Motors - ports Park at the end of June. Scott would have his revenge in race two after a titanic five-rider battle for the win. Scott ended up taking the victory by just 0.133 seconds over Cody Wyman (Kermoto/Madden Painting Ka - wasaki). Gloddy took third, 0.453 sec- onds behind Wyman. It's now a two-horse race in the series points, with Scott cur- rently leading on 252 to Gloddy's 236. Wyman is third on 173.
