bummer, but it's my best result so far this year and I showed a lot more today. That's what I needed and what I wanted." "It was a little better today even though the results don't show it," said Webb. "My starts were good in both motos, and I felt pretty good, but it seemed like those top guys were really hauling the mail today." 250MX The 250MX first-moto leader was something of a surprise, as FXR Chaparral Honda rider Carson Mumford grabbed the holeshot and would lead a few laps for the first time in his professional career. Behind, on the ground in the first turn, was Rockstar Husqvarna's Jalek Swoll and both Austin Forkner and Jo Shimoda of the Monster Energy/ Pro Circuit Kawasaki team. It was a heartbreak of a day for points leader Justin Cooper who threw away a sure overall victory when he crashed a lap and a half from the end of the second moto.
