few incidents recently that make
people a little iffy on passing him
on the high side because he's
not afraid to skate up into you. I
wanted to make sure my move
was a little bit—strategic—and
not get a slide job thrown at me.
It worked out pretty good. We
went back and forth for a sec-
ond. I think I could have cleared
him on the first try, but I kind of
"I kind of found something
and kept rolling," Bauman said.
"I started catching Price and
figured that it was pretty good. I
was just kind of locked in, doing
my thing. As crazy as it probably
looked, it felt super mellow. I just
got by most of the guys on the
high side and then caught up to
Price with a couple to go.
"Unfortunately, he's had a
MYOWNRACE
over to the second half of the season. "I
struggled early on today and then some-
thing just clicked in the main," he said.
"We made a few changes and worked my
way up from the second row, and in a few
laps, I was leading. I led the whole en re
race un l, like, two to go, and Briar snuck
up underneath me and pushed me wide.
Congrats to him, and I'm happy to be back
on the podium. I feel pre y good and I'm
excited about the rest of the season."

6TH SUPERTWINS
Privateer Bronson Bauman was in seri-
ous need of a good night on his Indian
Motorcycle of Oklahoma City-supported
FTR750. He got that—in part—looking
like the man to beat through the semis,
and then placing second in the Mission
Challenge and sixth in the main. "The en-
re night was pre y good," he said. "We
found some pre y good speed in the
semi. We got a terrible start in the 'Dash
for Cash' and charged forward really hard
in that one—close, but no cigar. In the
main, the track changed a lot and I really
struggled ge ng off the corner, which
had been my strong suit all night. But it's
small wins for us right now, and we had
some victories today."

came oh-so-close to his
first SuperTwins victory.
But second isn't bad.
