and Howard's Hole to top it all off. Amid my disbelief at
the conditions alone, my fellow competitors were passing
me like I was sitting still. This is where I began to question
what fast was. I had never in my life felt so fast, but going
so slow, holding on for dear life and trying to keep it on
two wheels while multiple guys tiptoe around me with lit-
eral ease. It was a humbling experience, to say the least.
