arley-Davidson officially introduced its all-new
Sportster S. It's powered by the company's Revolu-
tion Max 1250T liquid-cooled engine, which is simi-
lar to the 150-horsepower Revolution Max 1250 engine
that powers the H-D Pan America model. Horsepower
for the T engine is a claimed 121 hp @ 7500 rpm, torque
94 ft-lb @ 6000 rpm. It's tuned for more torque at lower
engine speeds than the Pan America's engine.
