or the first time in 15 years, Yamaha's YZ125 two-stroke
motocrosser gets a major overhaul for the new model year.
According to Yamaha, "every functional part of the 2022
YZ125 is new." This includes getting a new cylinder body, cylinder
head, piston, piston pin, connecting rod, crankcase and exhaust
system. Yamaha claims the new YZ125 has increased power
across the mid- to high-rpm range.
