Kawasaki's were phenomenal, so I
think we'll get better as the season
goes on," Szoke said. "Alex has
been riding really well in the U.S.,
and obviously those are some of
the best guys in the world, but we
aren't slow up here either."
Continuing the trend of copycat
results in fourth was Trevor Daley,
who salvaged another solid perfor-
mance on his OneSpeed Suzuki
machine and helped extend Su-
zuki's lead atop the Constructors
Standings.
Rounding out the top-five for the
second time on Sunday was Tomas
Casas, who showed better pace in
the second half of the doublehead-
er but still was unable to find the
podium for Parts Canada Yamaha.
Suzuki will exit round one with a
30-point advantage over BMW in
the new Constructors Champion-
ship, with Kawasaki just an addi-
tional 10 points behind, while Du-
mas takes a commanding 65-point
lead in the Brooklin Cycle Racing
Pro Rookie of the Year fight.

NGPC/District 37 To
Host ISDE Fundraiser
T
he National Grand Prix Cham-
pionship Series and AMA
District 37 are teaming up to host
a fundraiser to help three of its
racers—Preston Campbell, Cole
Martinez and Mateo Oliveira—
in their effort to represent the
U.S. at the International Six Day
Enduro in Italy this summer. The
fundraiser will take place at Pole
Position Raceway in Corona,
California on Thursday, July 22,
from 6:00 – 10:00 PM.
The following is from NGPC/
AMA District 37.
Come join us July 22nd at
Pole Position Raceway as we
come together for a night of fun
and raise money to help Pres-
ton Campbell, Cole Martinez
and Mateo Oliveira represent
our country and our series at
the ISDE in Italy! We will be
having a silent
auction, 50/50
raffle along with
a go-kart tourna-
ment! The Bratzermann food
truck will be in the parking lot
for all your food needs, along
with Preston, Cole and Mateo
with your chance to meet them
and grab their ISDE shirts in
support of their trip to Italy!
Entry to the event will be
$40 with all the proceeds go-
ing to the riders. The 50/50
raffle will be $1 per ticket, and
we will be doing raffle give-
aways, as well, before the big
drawing at the end, with the
winner getting half the pot, and
the other half being donated
to the riders. It's going to be
a great night with friends and
family, and we look forward to
seeing you all there!
