I had a really good holeshot from the second row with a high-low line off of turn two and passed a few people. I was ba ling with Brandon and Briar for a bit, but the track was pre y gnarly I guess for my size, and my line kind of got used up and I dri ed back a li le bit. My teammate [Jarod Vanderkooi] caught me and we had a pre y fun ba le back and forth with him for quite a few laps, and I just ended up fourth. It's a really good rebound for me. I've been struggling the past few weeks, and I'm excited to be running back up front." Bauman held off Robinson to nab what was a very timely and important win for the defending champ.
