Kelly. "We got pole again which
is always great but it's not the ob-
jective of the weekend. The ob-
jective is to fight for the wins and
to win races. So, to be able to
do both, do pole position, track
record and win both races is
definitely a great job. We have to
be proud of the work that we've
been doing. We've just been
chipping away. We know we
have racetracks that we're better
at. We know we have racetracks
that [Escalante is] better at. This
is clearly a good step. Last year,
HVMC Racing Kawasaki, was
always lurking behind, waiting for
a slip by Kelly that never came.
Kelly took the win by a little
over a second in race one. In
race two, Kelly felt Escalante
breathing down his back the
whole way, as the Kawasaki
locked on to the Suzuki rider and
closed in during the waning laps.
But Kelly held on to take the
win again—barely. Just 0.107
separated Kelly from Escalante
as they crossed the finish line.
"It was a great weekend," said

ers with Alexander winning the
Superbike Cup for racers aboard
Stock 1000-spec motorcycles.
SUPERSPORT
Sean Dylan Kelly, on the M4
Ecstar Suzuki, was unstoppable
in the Supersport class, winning
both days, which included a
couple of poles and a track re-
cord along the way. But Kelly had
close company throughout.
Defending class champion
Richie Escalante, on the Honos
Sean Dylan Kelley won both
Supersport races, but Richie
Escalante (1) kept things
interesting at the end.
