The Gresini team has partnered with Aprilia since the Noale factory returned to the pre- mier class in an official capacity in 2015. But with Aprilia being handed its own grid slots from 2022, the Gresini outfit has opted to move away. The switch means it will run 2021-spec machinery next year.
