rystan Hart came out on top
of a race-long battle with
Mario Roman and Cody Webb to
win the Silver Mountain Extreme
Enduro in Kellogg, Idaho, June
20. The event, held at the pictur-
esque Silver Mountain Ski resort,
served as round four of the AMA
Extreme Championship. The
event features some extremely
difficult up and downhills and
attracted over 400 riders with
only 32 riders completing the full
course on Sunday.
The Pro and A-class riders
competed in an 18-mile hot lap
on Saturday to set the start-
ing positions for Sunday's main
event.
FMF KTM's Hart set the fastest
time of 43 minutes and six sec-
onds. Ryder LeBlond was just
four seconds back on his Delullo
Racing Husqvarna. Taylor Robert
(FMF/KTM) was third fastest
ahead of Bulgarian Teodor Ka-
bakchiev (Husqvarna).
Cody Webb rounded out the
top five on his Sherco.
Sunday's main event featured
a 25-mile single-loop course with
a four-hour time limit. Rockstar
Husqvarna's Colton Haaker
jumped out to the early lead.
The California native now lives
in northern Idaho, not far from
the event and was looking to
earn a win close to home. Webb
moved into the lead by the first
checkpoint, which took nearly 35
minutes to reach.
