LOOKING BACK I
We pictured art on the cover of Cycle News 50 years ago, a sculpture of a
motorcycle and rider in action that was constructed entirely from welding rods
and sheet metal... The Louisville Half-Mile played out in Kentucky where Dave
Sehl took the win, while Championship leader Dick Mann watched from
the sidelines after having suffered a broken chain... J.N. Roberts won the
Nightmare Hare & Hound in Red Mountain, California, with Suzuki TM400-
mounted Rich Thorwaldson taking second... We featured a story on the
Road Atlanta National-winning duo Don Vesco and Kel Carruthers.
