a mistake, but I got the pass done,
which was really good.
"I was pretty pumped with
today," said runner-up Martin
afterwards. "My shoulder held up
strong in the moto. Some of that
stuff was pretty big with the holes
and stuff but we stayed strong
throughout."
"I've heard a lot about this su-
percross hangover, and I was kind
of worried about it, so I got right
into training," said 250SX West
Champion and third overall Cooper
of his motocross prep. "It was a
good battle and I'm really pleased
with how the day went. It started
off pretty mediocre, but by the end
we were able to find our flow."
"I kind of anticipated being
pleasantly surprised with just
how good my bike felt and where
that would put me," said Mosi-
man, who gave GasGas a fourth
overall in the brand's first-ever
AMA Pro Motocross outing. "I
just got on Jett there in the first
moto and was flowing and it was
coming to me easy."
Hampshire would go 3-9 for
fifth, while Hunter Lawrence tal-
same pace and ended up closing
the gap a little bit, but it was just
nice to see where we were at.
"In the second moto, I think I
was eighth or something on the
start," Lawrence added. "I made
my way into third, and it took me
a while to figure out what the two
Star boys were doing out front;
they were really on it. J-Mart made
a mistake, and I was able to get
close enough to watch what he
was doing and got a pass done a
few laps after that. I set my eyes
on Cooper and caught him fairly
