The second Stock 1000 race at VIR
was quite a sight as birthday boy Corey
Alexander (23) held off race-one winner
Jake Lewis by the narrowest of margins on
the long run to the line. The pair clashed
earlier on the last lap, stayed upright and
continued to the flag, laughing about the
encounter on the cool-down lap in a display
of hard-as-nails but clean racing.
