resh N' Lean Attack Performance Yamaha's Jake
Gagne put the rest of the MotoAmerica Honos
Superbike field on notice at VIR over the May 22-23
with a performance reminiscent of his former teammate
and five-time series king, Cameron Beaubier.
Qualifying on pole ahead of Warhorse HSBK Racing
Ducati New York's Loris Baz and round-one/race one win-
ner Mathew Scholtz (Westby Racing LLC Yamaha), Gagne
hit the front at turn one in both races and disappeared
up the road, taking the first race win on Saturday by 11.8
seconds from Scholtz and teammate Josh Herrin, and the
Sunday race by 13.9 seconds from Baz and Scholtz.
Jake Gagne went all Cameron Beaubier at VIR, taking
pole position, fastest lap in both races and two wins in the
most dominant performance of his career to date
