Mahindra is setting out its stall, after approaches from several teams
interesting in running the all-new
Suter-built MGP3O next season.
Regulations require that entrants
must be prepared to supply up to
15 riders per season. "It is quite
an exciting team, with approaches from a number of teams," said
Mahindra Racing CEO Mufaddal

would be very proud to see more
MGP3O machines on the grid."

Jonas Folger missed the race and
spoiled his Moto3 title chances
after badly spraining his hand in
a motocross training accident the
day after the Mugello GP. He was
still unable to ride at Catalunya, but
was striving to be fit for Assen. The
Team Aspar rider is a regular frontrunner on the KTM Kalex.
Cancellation of the maximum age
limit for Moto2 wild cards was
among a handful of minor fiddles
that came out of a GP Commission meeting at Catalunya. Previously the limit was 28. Other minor changes included a shuffle of
wet tire allocation rules giving riders more freedom to change their
choices, and the ending of stationery flag signals - from now on all
flags will be waved. Not much on
the agenda, then.
