Pro Motocross Championship Series, Ryan
Villopoto paid a surprise visit to the Kawasaki
Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A. plant in
Lincoln, Nebraska, last week and the more than
1300 employees gave the three-time Monster
Energy AMA Supercross Champion a standing
ovation before he thanked them for their support.
"I've raced for Monster Energy Kawasaki for
a long time now," said Villopoto. "And all of the
success I've achieved comes from everyone
who works at Kawasaki. Our team gets tremendous support from all of the employees and it is
fun to come see the work they are doing."
After his brief stint on stage, Villopoto toured
the massive manufacturing facility that produces
Kawasaki, Jet Ski, Mule and Teryx models, along
with rail cars. Seeing some heavy equipment in
action, Villopoto was impressed by the team spirit that resonated throughout the facility. Following
the tour Villopoto sat down for an autograph session for the employees and their families.
Villopoto is currently leading the 450 outdoor
National MX Championship by 16 over Ryan
Dungey.
