"It was incredible all around. My start
was incredibly strong, and I was in the
lead at turn one already. I then put
together a fran c pace for almost the
en rety of the race," Fabio Di Giannan-
tonio said. "I wouldn't say it was a 10
out of 10 Diggia, because I maybe did a
ny li le mistake, but aside from that
I was perfect. This win takes us into a
different dimension even if we knew
we could be extremely compe ve—
but now we want to do the same every
me. Fausto would have had so much
fun today and only we know it fully, so
this win goes to him."

he said to me 'if you can go for the
win, then do it…but otherwise take
the points. In the end we could make

the World Championship lead in
the process.

maintained a two-second gap
to Morbidelli for much of the re-
mainder of the race, until Bagnaia
charged past and steadily closed
down the gap to his teammate. In
the end, he came up 1.9 seconds
adrift of Miller at the flag.

MYOWNRACE
You have to feel for Fabio Quartararo (20). The Frenchman
had the race nailed but his right arm swelled to the point
where he could barely hang on. The pain on his face was
evident when he raised his visor over the finish line.
