was incredibly strong, and I was in the
lead at turn one already. I then put

"It wasn't easy today and I have a few
problems at this track with my riding
style," Pedro Acosta said. "I wasn't the
strongest out there, but I was talk-
ing with Aki [Ajo] before the race and
he said to me 'if you can go for the
win, then do it…but otherwise take
the points. In the end we could make
it! Thanks to the team and a special
thanks to my mother on Mother's Day
here in Spain!"

You have to feel for Fabio Quartararo (20). The Frenchman
had the race nailed but his right arm swelled to the point
where he could barely hang on. The pain on his face was
evident when he raised his visor over the finish line.
